With his latest work, the artist once again presents a first-class listening
experience. Spherical sounds blend perfectly with symphonic elements, with
epic chord sequences on the piano, the ‘Lord of Sounds’ draws vast
landscapes, colored by acoustic and electric guitar parts typical of his style.
His roots as one of the pioneers of electronic/acoustic music in the eighties
are particularly evident in the title track ‘A Light from Afar’. Boundless
Horizon’ seems like a homage to Vangelis, the grand master of electronic
music.
